  THE CHARITON RIVER NEAR CHARITON...OR FROM WOLF CREEK...TO RATHBUN
  RESERVOIR.
* AT  2:45 AM WEDNESDAY THE STAGE WAS 17.1 FEET...OR 2.4 FEET BELOW
  FLOOD STAGE.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 19.5 FEET.
* NO FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND MINOR FLOODING IS POSSIBLE.
* FORECAST...THE RIVER MAY RISE TO FLOOD STAGE THIS EVENING BEFORE
  STARTING TO FALL.
* IMPACT...AT 18.0 FEET...ABOUT 18000 ACRES FLOOD.
