NORTHERN HANCOCK...SOUTHEASTERN WINNEBAGO AND EAST CENTRAL KOSSUTH
COUNTIES...

AT 653 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED
AREA. AS MUCH AS 4 TO 5 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN ACROSS THE
WARNED AREA...WITH THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL OCCURRING IN NORTHWESTERN
HANCOCK COUNTY. FLASH FLOODING IS EITHER UNDERWAY OR IS EXPECTED TO
BEGIN SHORTLY.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
FOREST CITY...BRITT...EAGLE LAKE...WESLEY...LELAND...CRYSTAL LAKE...
WODEN...MILLER...HAYFIELD...HUTCHINS...FOREST CITY MUNICIPAL
AIRPORT...PILOT KNOB STATE PARK AND EAGLE LAKE STATE PARK.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF UP TO 1 INCH ARE POSSIBLE IN THE
WARNED AREA.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.
