...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 AM CDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN BREMER COUNTY...

At 143 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing very
heavy rain across the warned area. Radar estimated rainfall of up to
three to four inches of rain have already fallen since 10 PM Friday
night and additional very heavy rain is expected to persist through
the morning hours. At 140 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported
several roads in the warned area being inundated with flowing water
and the hardest hit area has been in and around Sumner in far
northeast Bremer County.  However other locations likely to
experience flash flooding include...Tripoli and Frederika.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Flash Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know
where you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can
become killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid
streams or creeks.
