following rivers in Iowa...Iowa River...Cedar River...

  Affecting the following counties in Iowa...Black Hawk...Marshall...
  Tama...Wright

River forecasts include observed precipitation...as well as expected
precipitation over the next 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded area...turn around and find an alternate
route. Turn around...do not drown.

* Impact...At 12.5 feet...Water affects US 69 north of Belmond.

  Flood Stage.
* Flood Stage is 19.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...rise to Flood Stage Wednesday evening.
* Impact...At 19.0 feet...Water affects Iowa 14 north of the river as
  well as Iowa 330 south of Albion.

* At 10:00 AM Tuesday the stage was 12.6 feet...or 0.1 feet above
  Flood Stage.
* Flood Stage is 12.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...rise to 13.0 feet...or 0.5 feet above Flood Stage...
  Thursday afternoon. Then begin falling and go below Flood Stage
  Sunday afternoon.
* Impact...At 13.0 feet...Water may begin affecting the outside lanes
  of portions of US 30. Water covers several county roads.

  Flood Stage.
* Flood Stage is 88.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Forecast...continue falling and go below Flood Stage early Sunday
  morning.
* Impact...At 93.8 feet...Water affects Cedar City. Water covers the
  road at 216 East Lake Street. Water is on the north edge of the
  road at 2125 Lone Tree Road.

* Forecast...continue falling and go below Flood Stage Friday

* Impact...At 18.0 feet...The access road to wastewater treatment
  plant is closed.
