.DISCUSSION...

Quiet weather is expected through the weekend with high pressure
dominating the upper Midwest. Winds will be light to moderate from
the north to northeast today with the stronger winds in southern
Iowa. Relative humidity values will drop into the 20 to 30 percent
range by this afternoon across much of central Iowa. Smoke
dispersion will be better in southern Iowa where mixing will be
deeper than in the north.
