This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

There will be an elevated fire risk today. Gusty northwest winds
are forecast from late morning through the afternoon, especially
in northern and eastern Iowa. Relatively mild temperatures will
also promote low humidity values by the afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

A mix of rain and snow will move into Iowa late in the day
Thursday and depart on Friday morning. Accumulating snowfall is
likely across northern Iowa, especially north of Highway 20, and
may impact travel Thursday night into Friday morning.

A series of storm systems will impact the region from late
Saturday through Monday, bringing additional chances for
widespread rain, snow, or both. Confidence on any snowfall
amounts and location remain limited at this time. More details
will follow later this week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed, but reports of any
grass fires today or snowfall later in the week would be
appreciated.
