A HEAT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR AREA THIS AFTERNOON INTO EARLY
EVENING. PLEASE REFER TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WEBSITE AT
WEATHER.GOV/DESMOINES FOR MORE INFORMATION.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AGAIN LATER
TONIGHT WITH A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. THE STORMS
WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS. HEAVY
RAINFALL WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE INTO TONIGHT WITH AMPLE MOISTURE IN
PLACE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

A SLIGHT RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ALSO EXISTS ON SATURDAY
AFTERNOON INTO SATURDAY NIGHT. LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS AND A
FEW TORNADOES WILL BE POSSIBLE DURING THIS TIME. HEAVY RAINS ALSO
WILL REMAIN A THREAT THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT.
