This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for much of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

Thunderstorms are likely north early this morning and again during
the late afternoon and nighttime hours. There will be a marginal
to slight risk of severe weather from late in the afternoon into
the night with large hail, damaging wind and locally heavy rains
the primary threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Thunderstorm chances return to the forecast Tuesday Night and
Wednesday. The severe weather potential during these times will be
better determined in the coming days.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters may be needed from late this afternoon into the evening.
