This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

Light snowfall will pass through today with accumulations
generally around an inch or less. Patchy blowing may occur
this evening and overnight as strong NW winds pick up behind the
cold front.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Very cold wind chills can be expected Monday through Wednesday
morning. The coldest night will be Monday night with wind chill
values potentially approaching 25 to 30 degrees below zero in
some areas of central and southern Iowa.

Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

Light snowfall will pass through today with accumulations
generally around 2 inches or less. Patchy blowing may occur this
evening and overnight as strong NW winds pick up behind the cold
front. Wind chills will drop into the 20 to 30 degrees below zero
range overnight.

A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect from 3 AM Monday through noon
Tuesday. Please refer to the National Weather Service website at
weather.gov/desmoines for further details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Very cold wind chills can be expected Monday through Wednesday
morning. The coldest night will be Monday night with wind chill
values potentially approaching 40 degrees below zero in some
areas of northern Iowa.
