This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight

Periods of thunderstorms are possible across southern Iowa. The
threat for severe weather is low at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Periods of evening thunderstorms will be possible across the area
Tuesday through Friday. It is too early to determine specific
locations at this time, however, large hail and damaging winds
will be the primary threats.

Excessive heat is possible Tuesday through Friday, with Wednesday
and Thursday being the warmest days. Heat index values in these
locations may reach and exceed 105 degrees.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Periods of thunderstorms will be possible across the area Tuesday
through Friday. Thunderstorms on Tuesday and Wednesday night may
produce moderate to heavy rainfall. Large hail and damaging winds
will be the primary threats with thunderstorms during the evening
hours.
