THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL IOWA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH TONIGHT...WITH THE GREATEST
POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY RAIN DURING THE LATE EVENING INTO THE
OVERNIGHT HOURS. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES ARE
POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY NEAR THE MINNESOTA AND IOWA BORDER.
LOCALIZED FLASH FLOOD IS POSSIBLE AND RISES IN SMALL STREAMS AND
RIVERS MAY RESULT FROM THE HEAVY RAIN. IN ADDITION...AN ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORM MAY BE SEVERE WITH LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS THE
MAIN THREATS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

WIDESPREAD THUNDERSTORMS WILL PERSIST ACROSS THE AREA THURSDAY
WITH ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN AND POTENTIALLY LOCALIZED FLASH
FLOODING REMAINING A THREAT.

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL CONTINUE OFF AND ON THROUGH SUNDAY AND
RETURN ACROSS THE AREA MONDAY THROUGH TUESDAY. HEAVY RAIN WILL BE
POSSIBLE THURSDAY NIGHT MAINLY FROM CENTRAL THROUGH NORTHERN IOWA
WHERE ONE TO TWO ROUNDS OF HEAVY RAINFALL MAY LEAD TO FLASH
FLOODING AND RISES IN SMALL STREAMS AND RIVERS. A FEW SEVERE
STORMS MAY BE POSSIBLE AT TIMES AS WELL.

POSSIBLE WITH STORMS TONIGHT INTO THURSDAY MORNING...WITH 1 TO 2
INCHES OF RAINFALL POSSIBLE. THE THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
IS LOW.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY
