This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Periodic moderate to heavy rains with a few non severe
thunderstorms are expected tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Moderate to heavy rains are possible north Saturday morning. This
may result in minor to isolated moderate river flooding in the
coming days due to recent and forecast rainfall. Flood Watches
have been issued for some central Iowa rivers. Please refer to
the National Weather Service website at weather.gov/desmoines for
further details.

Strong storms across eastern Iowa cannot be ruled out Saturday
afternoon. Thunderstorms are also possible Monday into Tuesday
morning. At this time, the threat for severe weather during this
period is low.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters may be needed briefly east Saturday afternoon for severe
weather while rainfall amounts and flood reports would be
appreciated area wide.
