THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL IOWA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Patchy dense fog may develop early this morning and impact the
morning commute.

Elevated fire threat will exist this afternoon over areas west of
I-35 and north of I-80.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

Wintry precipitation is possible Thursday night through Friday
night with the best chance for moderate to heavy snow
accumulations over northern Iowa. In addition, gusty northwest
winds are expected to develop on Friday and linger into Friday
evening causing areas of blowing snow. Hazardous travel impacts
may be possible Thursday night into Friday night.
