...Dense Fog Likely over Parts of Southern and Eastern Iowa
Overnight...

.Recent rains coupled with clearing skies and light winds have
made conditions favorable for fog development across the advisory
area into the early morning hours Tuesday. The fog may be dense in
many areas.

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT TUESDAY...

The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a Dense Fog
Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM CDT Tuesday.

* VISIBILITY...Visibilities have already dipped to no more than a
  mile or two across much of southern and southeast Iowa and
  conditions should continue to worsen through the night.
  Visibilities will often be a quarter mile or less toward
  daybreak.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be slowed and hazardous overnight with
  dramatically reduced visibilities.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
