.THE COMBINATION OF MOIST SOILS...LIGHT WINDS AND PERIODS OF
CLEAR SKIES HAS ALLOWED DENSE FOG TO FORM ACROSS PORTIONS OF
IOWA...ESPECIALLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE INTERSTATE 80 CORRIDOR.
CONDITIONS SHOULD IMPROVE DURING THE LATE MORNING HOURS.

  MILE OR LESS THROUGH 10 AM...AND THEN IMPROVE TO AT LEAST
  SEVERAL MILES BY NOON.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL WILL BE DIFFICULT AND POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS
  WITH VERY LIMITED SIGHT DISTANCE BETWEEN VEHICLES AND OTHER
  OBJECTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL FREQUENTLY BE
REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE QUARTER MILE. IF DRIVING...SLOW DOWN...
USE YOUR HEADLIGHTS...AND LEAVE PLENTY OF DISTANCE AHEAD OF YOU.
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS NEAR INTERSECTIONS AND RAILROAD CROSSINGS
