.DENSE FOG CONTINUES AND WILL LIKELY REMAIN UNTIL LATE MORNING OR
EARLY AFTERNOON. THEREFORE THE DENSE FOG ADVISORY HAS BEEN
EXTENDED UNTIL THE NOON HOUR. ADDITIONALLY...AREAS OF FOG OVER
MISSOURI MAY EVENTUALLY MOVE NORTH LATER TODAY AS MOISTURE
CONTINUES TO INCREASE ACROSS THE AREA. DENSE FOG IS AGAIN LIKELY
TO OCCUR OVERNIGHT TONIGHT OVER THE REGION. PLAN ACCORDINGLY.

ENCOUNTERED ALONG THE IOWA MINNESOTA BORDER...OTHERWISE OVER
CENTRAL IOWA THE VISIBILITY HAS IMPROVED TO 2 TO 3 MILES OR
HIGHER. BY EVENING...FOG MAY AGAIN BECOME THICKER...SO REMAIN
ALERT TO CHANGING CONDITIONS DURING THE EVENING COMMUTE.

* VISIBILITY...AROUND A QUARTER MILE OR LESS...TO NEAR ZERO AT
  TIMES.

* IMPACTS...DRIVING WILL BE HAZARDOUS DUE TO LOW AND CHANGING
  VISIBILITIES. ALLOW EXTRA TRAVEL TIME AND PLEASE TAKE
  APPROPRIATE PRECAUTIONS WHILE DRIVING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL FREQUENTLY BE
REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE QUARTER MILE. BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS
NEAR INTERSECTIONS AND RAILROAD CROSSINGS AS VEHICLES AND TRAINS
MAY BE HIDDEN FROM VIEW BY THE DENSE FOG. ALSO BE ESPECIALLY
CAREFUL IF TRAVELING ALONG KNOWN SCHOOL BUS ROUTES AS BUSSES MAKE
FREQUENT STOPS. IF DRIVING, SLOW DOWN, USE YOUR HEADLIGHTS, AND
LEAVE PLENTY OF DISTANCE AHEAD OF YOU.
