...Dense Fog Over Northern Iowa This Morning...

.A blanket of dense fog has developed over north central Iowa and
looks to continue to remain thick through the remainder of the
night time hours. Visibility to less than a quarter mile are
likely at times through around 9 AM this morning when the
visibility is expected to improve.

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a Dense Fog
Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM CDT this morning.

* VISIBILITY...One quarter mile or less visibility.

* IMPACTS...Quick reductions in visibility will cause significant
  driving difficulties, especially during the night time hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
