...DENSE FOG IN NORTH CENTRAL IOWA THIS MORNING...

.Areas of dense fog will affect portions of north central and
northeast Iowa early this morning, then dissipate after sunrise.

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...

The National Weather Service in Des Moines has cancelled the
Dense Fog Advisory.

The southwestern portion of the fog bank across northern Iowa has
eroded, resulting in significantly improved visibility from areas
around Pocahontas down to Boone. A few patches of dense fog may
persist for the next hour or two but should largely dissipate.

* VISIBILITY...Less than a quarter mile.

* IMPACTS...Driving may become hazardous due to limited
  visibility. Please use your fog lights and allow extra time
  for travel.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
