SURVEY_SUMMARY: NWS storm survey confirmed a tornado initially touched down about 5 miles
south of Bedford.  The tornado then grew in intensity as it tracked to the east.  Damage along the
path consisted of scattered trees topped and uprooted along with damage to several structures.  The
most severe damage occurred to several homes and outbuildings where peak wind speeds were estimated
to be near 110 mph.  This is consistent with high end EF-1 damage.
