...Strong Gusty Winds Moving Through North Central Iowa...

At 535 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Big Wall Lake to 7 miles east of Webster
City to Ogden. Movement was east at 45 mph.

Wind gusts to around 50 mph will be possible with these storms. The
Webster City Airport gusted to 54 mph around 5:20pm.

Locations impacted include...
Ames, Boone, Nevada, Iowa Falls, Eldora, Grundy Center, Story City,
Huxley, Ogden, Parkersburg, Ackley, Slater, State Center, Roland,
Jewell Junction, Aplington, Conrad, Gilbert, Iowa State Center and
Big Wall Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
