...LOCALLY DENSE FOG LIKELY THROUGH 9 AM...

CLEARING SKIES COMBINED WITH ABUNDANT LOW LEVEL MOISTURE FROM THE
RAIN THAT MUCH OF IOWA RECEIVED OVER THE WEEKEND IS LEADING TO AN
EXPANDING AREA OF FOG ALONG THE HIGHWAY 20 CORRIDOR. VISIBILITIES
AROUND A HALF MILE ARE BECOMING COMMON WITH LOCAL REDUCTIONS IN
VISIBILITY TO A QUARTER MILE OR LESS FROM TIME TO TIME. THE FOG
MAY EXPAND TO ADDITIONAL COUNTIES ACROSS NORTHERN IOWA EARLY THIS
MORNING BUT SHOULD BEGIN TO LIFT BETWEEN 8 AM AND 9 AM. MORNING
COMMUTERS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR VISIBILITY REDUCTIONS...ESPECIALLY
IN LOW LYING AREAS. ALLOW EXTRA TRAVEL TIME THIS MORNING AND LEAVE
MORE SPACE BETWEEN YOURSELF AND THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF YOU.
