The National Weather Service in Des Moines  has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southeastern Monroe County in south central Iowa...
  Western Davis County in southeastern Iowa...
  Southwestern Wapello County in southeastern Iowa...
  Appanoose County in south central Iowa...

* Until 830 PM CDT.

* At 739 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Mystic, or 5 miles northwest of Centerville,
  moving east at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Centerville, Rathbun Lake, Mystic, and Rathbun around 745 PM CDT.
  Udell around 750 PM CDT.
  Lake Sundown and Unionville around 755 PM CDT.
  Lake Wapello State Park around 805 PM CDT.
  Drakesville around 815 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Rathbun, Lake Wapello State Park, Mystic, Honey Creek State Park,
Udell, Sharon Bluffs State Park, Drakesville, Centerville Municipal
Airport, Moulton, and Unionville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
