* SHORT TERM TRENDS...FREEZING DRIZZLE HAS ENDED OVER NORTH
  CENTRAL IOWA...AND WILL BY AROUND NOONTIME FARTHER SOUTH AND
  EAST TOWARD WATERLOO. HOWEVER SNOW SHOWERS AND GUSTY NORTHWEST
  WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP LATER THIS AFTERNOON PRODUCING
  SIGNIFICANT VISIBILITY RESTRICTIONS...ESPECIALLY IN RURAL OPEN
  AREAS.

* STORM TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...LESS THAN ONE INCH.

* WINDS/VISIBILITY...NORTHWEST WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS
  OVER 40 MPH WILL LIKELY CAUSE PERIODS OF VISIBILITY
  RESTRICTIONS OF LESS THAN ONE HALF MILE AT TIMES DURING THE
  AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING HOURS.

* IMPACTS...THE COMBINATION OF SLICK ROADS FROM PREVIOUS ICING AND
  VISIBILITY RESTRICTIONS IN SNOW SHOWERS AND GUSTY NORTHWEST
  WINDS WILL MAKE FOR HAZARDOUS TRAVEL INTO THE AFTERNOON AND
  EARLY EVENING HOURS.
