...A WINTER STORM WILL AFFECT THE AREA LATE TONIGHT AND
WEDNESDAY...

.A FAST MOVING STORM WILL TRACK SOUTHEAST INTO WESTERN IOWA
OVERNIGHT AND MOVE INTO NORTHEAST MISSOURI BY NOON WEDNESDAY.
NORTHEAST OF THE STORM TRACK SNOW IS EXPECTED. A RAIN SNOW
MIXTURE WILL OCCUR TO THE SOUTHWEST OF THE STORM TRACK. TRAVEL
WILL BE IMPACTED LATE TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY AS LIGHT TO MODERATE
SNOWFALL ACCUMULATES ACROSS THE REGION.

* TIMING...LIGHT SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN AROUND MIDNIGHT WITH
  LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW BETWEEN 3 AM AND MID MORNING WEDNESDAY.
  THE SNOW WILL DIMINISH BY LATE MORNING AND EARLY AFTERNOON
  WEDNESDAY.

* STORM TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...SNOWFALL TOTALS OF 2 TO
  NEARLY 4 INCHES ARE EXPECTED WITH THE HEAVIER TOTALS NORTH OF
  HIGHWAY 20.

* WINDS AND VISIBILITY...SOUTHEAST WINDS OF 10 TO 15 MPH WILL
  SWITCH TO THE NORTH FOLLOWING THE STORM AND INCREASE TO 15 TO
  25 MPH OVER WESTERN IOWA BY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. VISIBILITY MAY
  BE REDUCED TO ONE HALF MILE AT TIMES DURING THE HEAVIEST
  SNOWFALL.

* IMPACTS...SNOW COVERED ROADS ARE EXPECTED WITH SLIPPERY TRAVEL
  CONDITIONS. SOME MINOR BLOWING SNOW MAY OCCUR WEDNESDAY
