STATE TONIGHT. HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD SOUTH AND RESULT IN VERY
COLD WIND CHILL VALUES TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING. SIMILAR
CONDITIONS ARE LIKELY WEDNESDAY MORNING.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DES MOINES HAS ISSUED A WIND
CHILL ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO NOON
CST TUESDAY.

* TIMING OR SHORT TERM TRENDS...COLD AIR WILL SPILL INTO THE STATE
  WITH WIND CHILLS FALLING TO NEAR 20 BELOW ZERO OR COLDER BY
  AROUND MIDNIGHT TONIGHT.

* WINDS...NORTH WINDS OF 10 TO 15 MPH ARE EXPECTED THROUGH THE
  NIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING.

* TEMPERATURES/WIND CHILL VALUES...TEMPERATURES WILL FALL INTO THE
  SINGLE DIGITS BELOW ZERO TONIGHT. WIND CHILL VALUES WILL FALL TO
  NEAR 20 BELOW BY MIDNIGHT TONIGHT...AND ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN
  IN THE 20 TO 25 BELOW ZERO RANGE INTO TUESDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS...THESE LOW WIND CHILL VALUES WILL RESULT IN POSSIBLE
  FROST BITE TO EXPOSED SKIN.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE LOW WIND CHILLS. THIS WILL RESULT IN
FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.
