...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of southeastern
Caldwell, southeastern Bastrop, northern Gonzales, south central Lee,
Fayette and northern Lavaca Counties through 130 AM CDT...

At 1225 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 10 miles west of Rosanky to Waelder to near
Hochheim. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lockhart, Gonzales, Luling, La Grange, Smithville, Schulenburg,
Hallettsville, Shiner, Flatonia, Moulton, Waelder, Fayetteville,
Round Top, Sublime, Palmeto State Park, Rosanky, Muldoon, Cistern,
Brownsboro, and Carmine.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for
south central Texas.
