Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Minor flooding begins in the woodlands and fields along the creek upstream and downstream from the gage on the U.S. Highway 41 or Nashville Street bridge. The flood water will expand to inundate the entire area under the bridge. Minor flooding of the natural floodplain will also occur upstream of the gage between Interstate 75 and U.S. Highway 41 or Nashville Street. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:30 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 14.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage to a crest of 16 feet this evening.
