...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of Banks, northern Hall,
northeastern Jackson and Madison Counties through 245 AM EDT...

At 148 AM EDT, a line of strong thunderstorms was along a line
extending from near Gainesville to near Royston, and moving southeast
at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Up to 40 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to
         ground lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
         light, unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Gainesville, Commerce, Homer, Danielsville, Lula, Maysville,
Nicholson, Ila, Gillsville, Pocataligo, Pinefield Crossroads, Paoli,
Murrayville, Banks Crossing, and Apple Valley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM EDT for north central
and northeastern Georgia.
