The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  North Central Bosque County in central Texas...
  Northwestern Hill County in central Texas...
  Southwestern Johnson County in north central Texas...

* Until 800 AM CDT.

* At 543 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash
  flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Up to 2 inches
  of rain in one hour has been reported by an automated gauge.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Meridian, Blum, Lake Whitney, Meridian State Park, Walnut Springs,
  Morgan, Retreat, Eulogy, Kopperl, Brazos Point and Lakeside
  Village.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is
harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
