Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Glasgow MT
303 AM MDT Tue Apr 16 2024

This is the regional weather summary for the eastern two-thirds
of Montana, southern Saskatchewan, and western North Dakota.

Today, a frontal passage will slowly sweep across eastern Montana
and North Dakota with a few isolated showers showers along it.
Behind the front strong northwest winds are expected leading to
rough chop on area lakes. When this is combined with low relative
humidity this afternoon critical fire weather conditions will be
possible into the evening. Highs will range from the mid 60s ahead
of the front to the upper 40s behind it.

Tonight, strong winds will reduce slightly overnight as scattered
showers spread into central Montana. Other locations should
remain dry. Lows will span the lower 30s in the northwest to the
upper 30s in the southeast.

Wednesday, strong northwest winds will return with a vengeance as
isolated to scattered showers spread into the remainder of
Montana and northwestern North Dakota. With cold air entering the
area highs will drop, spanning the mid 30s in the northwest to the
upper 40s in western North Dakota.
