Spring-like temperatures return to the area today as high
temperatures are expected to climb into the 70s across the entire
forecast area. Along with the warmer temperatures...modest southerly
breezes...with gusts to near 25 MPH...will create near-critical fire
weather concerns for areas mainly west of Highway 281. Much warmer
temperatures are expected over the upcoming weekend...with high
temperatures in the 80s to near 90 each day. Sunday looks to be the
nicest day...as along with the warmer temperatures...generally light
east southeasterly breezes are anticipated. A chance for
thunderstorms returns to the area Monday evening...some of which are
expected to be severe. Stay tuned.
