At 633 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Battle Creek, moving northeast at 30 mph. A second severe thunderstorm in south central Calhoun County was approaching Homer. Both of these storms have had a history of producing damaging tornadoes. HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
