...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL CATAWBA...
ALEXANDER AND SOUTHEASTERN CALDWELL COUNTIES THROUGH 1230 PM EDT...

At 1154 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles southwest of Taylorsville, moving north at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Taylorsville, Bethlehem, Lake Hickory, Lookout Shoals Lake, St.
Stephens, Hiddenite, Northlakes, Little River In Alexander County,
Vashti, and Millersville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
