.DISCUSSION...

Above normal temperatures are expected today and tomorrow. Then
a storm system is expected to impact Central California beginning
Friday afternoon and continuing through Sunday night. Heavy snow
is expected for the Sierra Nevada mountains and periods of
rainfall are also expected for the San Joaquin Valley and Sierra
foothills. General thunderstorms are expected on Saturday north of
Kern County. Relative humidity recovery is good through the forecast
period. Wind variables for Saturday night and Sunday have been added
to address the remarks.
