URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM SATURDAY TO
8 AM PDT SUNDAY ABOVE 5000 FEET...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected above 5000 feet. Total snow
  accumulations of 5 to 10 inches above 5,000 feet, 12 to 18
  inches above 7,000 feet and 1 to 2 feet of snow above 9,000
  feet. Winds gusting as high as 75 mph on exposed ridgetops and
  along the crest.

* WHERE...Kings River north to Yosemite NP, excluding the
  Yosemite Valley.

* WHEN...From 11 AM Saturday to 8 AM PDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Very
  strong winds could cause extensive tree damage. The cold wind
  chills as low as 20 below zero could result in hypothermia if
  precautions are not taken.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected above 5000 feet. Total snow
  accumulations of 5 to 10 inches above 5,000 feet and 12 to 18
  inches above 7,000 feet. Winds gusting as high as 70 mph on
  exposed ridgetops and along the crest.

* WHERE...Kaiser to Rodgers Ridge, Kings Canyon NP, Grant Grove
  Area and Sequoia NP.

* WHEN...From 2 PM Saturday to 8 AM PDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Very
  strong winds could cause extensive tree damage. The cold wind
  chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on
  exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
