The National Weather Service in Huntsville has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Madison County in north central Alabama...

* Until noon CDT.

* At 903 AM CDT, the public reported thunderstorms producing heavy
  rain across central Madison county. Numerous roads have water over
  them. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding
  is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Public reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Huntsville, Madison, Moores Mill, Meridianville, Redstone Arsenal,
  Gurley, Alabama A And M University, University Of Alabama In
  Huntsville, Harvest, Ryland, Brownsboro and Maysville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
