...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Kansas...

  Neosho River at Oswego affecting Cherokee and Labette Counties.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas...

  Neosho River near Parsons affecting Labette and Neosho Counties.

  Neosho River near Erie affecting Neosho County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don`t
drown.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL FRIDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Neosho River at Oswego.

* WHEN...Until Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 22.5 feet, Riverside Park Drive floods from east of
  Xavier St, just south of the river gage bridge, to 100 yards east
  towards the water plant.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:12 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 23.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Friday morning and continue falling to 7.4 feet Sunday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

  - Bankfull stage is 21.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Thursday evening and continue falling to 12.4 feet Sunday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Neosho River near Erie.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 36.0 feet, The intersection of Main Street and just
  south of 7th Street becomes flooded to a depth of near 10 inches
  for a distance of 10 to 15 yards.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 35.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 27.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    tomorrow morning and continue falling to 19.0 feet Sunday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 29.0 feet.
