Under clear to partly cloudy conditions, dry weather prevailed
through the overnight hours. A cold front bisected Kansas early
this morning with a wide range of temperatures. Morning lows were
in the lower 40s in extreme western Kansas while those in far
southeast Kansas saw temperatures in the low 60s. Some early
morning thunderstorms are expected in parts of eastern Kansas.

Morning storms in eastern Kansas will shift east as we move
through the day. With breezy northwest winds, afternoon highs will
top out in the 60s and 70s over western Kansas with upper 70s to
low 80s in eastern Kansas.

Tranquil weather conditions are expected tonight across Kansas
with lows ranging from the upper 30s in northwest Kansas to near
50 in southeast Kansas.
