...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTH CENTRAL RENO COUNTY IS
CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for central
Kansas. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
central and south central Kansas.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN MCPHERSON AND SOUTHEASTERN RICE COUNTIES...

At 621 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Lindsborg to 9 miles southeast of Marquette to
Mcpherson to 9 miles northeast of Nickerson, moving northeast at 50
mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Mcpherson, Inman, Little River, Windom, and Mcpherson Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for central
Kansas. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
central and south central Kansas.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
