Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
323 AM EDT Thu Apr 25 2024

.DISCUSSION...A drier and cooler air mass continues to move into
the area this morning as high pressure works into the Ohio Valley.
Following the potential for some patchy frost in the valleys
Thursday morning, relative humidity values will drop to between 20
and 30 percent across many locations in the afternoon.
Fortunately, 20 foot winds look to average less than 10 mph.
Warmer weather and small chances of rain return Friday, but a
warming and drying trend takes place through the weekend with
increased southerly breezes. Shower and thunderstorms return for
the early to middle part of next week.
