Lows overnight fell into the 30s to near 40 under partly to mostly
cloudy skies. Light rain showers moved across southwest into
central and north central Nebraska, with light accumulations
reported. Winds were light from the south.

High temperatures today range from the low 50s near the Pine Ridge
to the low 70s across southwest and central Nebraska. A cold front
will push through the area this afternoon and evening, with a risk
for thunderstorms. Some of the storms could be strong to severe,
with damaging winds and hail as the primary hazards. Winds will be
gusty from the south this afternoon before switching to the north
after the cold front passes this evening.
