...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN LOGAN AND NORTHWESTERN
SIMPSON COUNTIES THROUGH 830 PM CDT...

At 759 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles south of Russellville, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Russellville, Auburn, Adairville, Hilltop, Dennis, Dot, Lickskillet,
Schley, Cave Springs, and Turnertown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
south central Kentucky.
