For the following areas...

  Nearshore Waters from Northerly Island to Calumet Harbor...
  Nearshore Waters from Calumet Harbor to Michigan City...
  Open Waters from Wilmette Harbor to Michigan City out to Mid
Lake...

At 936 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 16 nm northeast of Harrison-Dever Crib to 7 nm
northeast of Indiana Harbor to 7 nm southwest of Gary, moving east at
50 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Indiana Harbor, Calumet Harbor, Burns Harbor, Burnham Harbor, Marina
Shores at Dune Harbor, and Hammond Marina.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
