...A GUST FRONT APPROACHING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Tidal Potomac from Indian Head to Cobb Island MD...
  Tidal Potomac from Key Bridge to Indian Head MD...

At 1207 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a gust front, capable of
producing winds to around 20 knots. This front was located along a
line extending from 18 nm north of Key Bridge to 27 nm northwest of
Quantico, moving east at 35 knots.

The front will be near...
  Key Bridge around 1230 AM EDT.
  Tidal Basin and Alexandria around 1235 AM EDT.
  Reagan National Airport around 1240 AM EDT.
  Fort Hunt, Mason Neck State Park, Fort Washington, Occoquan Bay,
  Gunston Hall, Leesylvania State Park, Woodrow Wilson Bridge, and
  National Harbor around 1245 AM EDT.
  Indian Head around 1250 AM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds and locally higher waves. Boaters in
small craft should seek safe harbor.
