The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Madison County in northwestern Virginia...
  Orange County in central Virginia...
  Northeastern Albemarle County in central Virginia...
  Southern Culpeper County in northern Virginia...
  Spotsylvania County in central Virginia...

* Until 1215 AM EDT.

* At 1139 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 6 miles northwest of Boswells Tavern to Ferncliff to
  near Trenholm, moving northeast at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches
           to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as
           damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by
           downed trees. Localized power outages are possible.
           Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.

* Locations impacted include...
  Culpeper, Orange, Spotsylvania, Campbell, Hollymead, Gordonsville,
  Eheart, Oakpark, Barboursville, Verdiersville, Stony Point,
  Montpelier Station, Locust Grove, Snell, Thornhill, Winston,
  Partlow, Madison Mills, Montford, and Mitchells.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM EDT for central,
northern and northwestern Virginia.
