...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM CDT
FOR SOUTH CENTRAL PECOS AND NORTH CENTRAL TERRELL COUNTIES...

At 614 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 25 miles north of
Sanderson, moving southeast at 15 mph.

THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR PORTIONS OF HWY 285.

HAZARD...Three inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
         Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
         siding, and vehicles.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of south
central Pecos and north central Terrell Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for southwestern
Texas.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
