...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHERN SCURRY COUNTY...

At 325 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles northeast of
J B Thomas Reservoir, or 9 miles southwest of Snyder, moving
northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Snyder, J B Thomas Reservoir, Dunn, Hermleigh, Randalls Corner, Ira,
Winston Field, and Knapp.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for western
Texas.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
