...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN FAYETTE AND
SOUTHEASTERN SHELBY COUNTIES THROUGH 500 AM CDT...

At 424 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Germantown, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Collierville, Germantown, Cordova, Memphis, Somerville, Southeast
Memphis, Macon, Oakland, Piperton, Rossville, Moscow, Williston,
Lenow, Fisherville, Elba, Canadaville, White Station, Capleville,
Kirk, and Hays Crossing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 AM CDT for northwestern
Mississippi.
