FOR GREENE...NORTHEASTERN LENOIR...PITT AND NORTHWESTERN BEAUFORT
COUNTIES...

At 455 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Pactolus to near Bell Arthur, moving east at 35
mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Greenville, Washington, Winterville, Ayden, Farmville, Grifton,
Stokes, Snow Hill, Bell Arthur, Pactolus, House, Shelmerdine, Calico,
Black Jack, Bruce, Maury, Ormondsville, Roundtree, Lizzie, and Pitt
Greenville Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from
windows.
