...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHERN WESTCHESTER AND ROCKLAND COUNTIES...

At 531 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Haverstraw,
moving southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail and lightning
         strikes.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind
         damage to trees and power lines.

This severe storm will be near...
  Ossining and Upper Nyack around 535 PM EDT.
  Nyack around 540 PM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
